Dream State Drop New Song 'Monsters', Tease New EP + Announce Lineup Change

After teasing it earlier this week, the time has come for Dream State to show off their melodic-rockin' new song 'Monsters' which ups the ante ten-fold and proves that this band re the next big thing and we're stoked to have caught them at UNIFY 2019 for their first and only Australian show (so far).
On the new track, vocalist CJ Gilpin revealed:
“'Monsters' is an expression of the inner goddess in me and is about the acceptance of my messy, chaotic energy; the owning and surrendering to who and what I am. It’s an awakening and I am saying, ‘I am okay with who I am and I will not be misled anymore’. It has taken lifetimes to get here."
And she is a goddess to us, the band's debut album Primrose Path was an instant win with fans and WoS staff members (our review here) and the fact they're already on the next phase is exciting, just as long as we get to hear their latest album's songs live at some point in the future! It should also be mentioned that drummer Jamie Lee has decided to step away from band life. Dream State wishes him well and will be announcing a permanent replacement in due course.
On top of that, the crew have a very busy 12 months ahead of them including a new EP set for release in the first half of 2021 and they'll be unveiling a limited edition vinyl press of their Recovery EP. So get keeen!
