Captives drop new single & video plus annouce September tour!

4 min read

Teaming up with Producer Tom Larkin (Shihad) for the third time, CAPTIVES are pushing new boundaries and fine tuning their dark and unique blend of punk goodness.
The boys from captives hail from the Southern Isle of Tasmania and now currently reside in Melbourne. Once adorned with the moniker 'forest horror', the punk 'n' roll fivesome are a hotly demanded ticket to a rollicking good time and a thumping hangover.

Rolling Stone magazine described the band as 'The visceral thrill of being throttled by razor-sharp guitars, slapped around the head by thundering drums and screamed at by a man gargling glass '.

And Channel V had this to say - '...like a champion greyhound exploding from the gate with the fluffy bunny already in its jaw'.

You can catch Captives on the road this September/October throughout Australia on a tour that takes in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland & Tasmania. The new single 'Vines' will be released Aug 5th via Inertia. Check out the video at the bottom of this release.
