Swedish Metalcore Veterans Adept Finally Return With New Material - Listen to 'Heaven'

Get ready, loyal metalcore fans – Swedish post-hardcore stalwarts Adept are officially back in action and have released new music for the first time since 2016 - nearly a decade. The band recently broke their musical silence with a live show in Germany in November last year, marking 20 years as a band.
Known for anthemic releases like 'At Least Give Me My Dreams Back, You Negligent Whore!', 'Black Veins' and my personal favourite 'Means to an End (The Greatest Betrayer)' - Adept became a metalcore household name in the 2010s. The Trosa-born Scandinavian band even travelled to Australia in 2013, playing a string of club-shows with their biggest hits.
After refreshing social pages and teasing new music, this is another reunion that is finally here; marking their first material since studio album Sleepless, released in 2016. 'Heaven' kicks in with the same recipe that took them off to their metalcore max. The track leads with a crushing breakdown that blends into a melodic calm. The emotion that gave this band life is still rushing through their veins. With modern production, drums and guitars buzz with a revitalised energy and 'Heaven' assures fans Adept are very much alive.
Give it a spin and let us know what you think of the band's comeback and new tune!
