Adelaide's Down And Out Are Finally Back with 'Sidelines'

I've personally waited so damn long for this, but Adelaide pop punkers Down And Out are back in the spotlight with their brand new single 'Sidelines'.

The song is a mature return to form for these Radelaide upcomers who are poised and prepared to bounce right back into the Aussie circuit with their infectious, youthful brand of pop punk. Vocalist Luke Ganeo explains how the song was inspired by the effects of capitalism in today's society:

"The rich get richer and the rest of us continue to work our fingers to the bone for those who profit off of it. It talks about the impacts of capitalism, and how it drains resources out of the developing world in order to enrich the wrong people. While none of this is particularly new, very few people are ready to point the finger directly at those at fault."

Produced by Stevie Knight and inspired by the punchy melodies of Neck Deep and The Story So Far, 'Sidelines' is a strong return to form for the lads. Definitely a band to watch on the pop punk circuit these next few months!
