5 Seconds Of Summer Returned To Their Pop Rock/Punk Roots With 'Teeth'

Ok ok ok, another band we normally wouldn't really cover, but, when your new song sounds like a Fall Out Boy track, you gotta give credit where credit is due and that's what I'm running with for the latest 5 Seconds of Summer song 'Teeth' which, upon first listen, took me back to FoB's 2015 album American Beauty/American Psycho and in particular, the song 'Centuries'.When the Aussie four-piece first broke out, they had pop punk in their blood... then they reached international stardom and became one of the biggest upcoming bands in the world, changed styles and went in a completely new direction. Shinfo: This new offering comes from the 13 Reasons Why Season 3 soundtrack!
This new song however, could definitely make it into your playlists alongside All Time Low, blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Paramore and may other acts you're probably thrashing on the daily. It should also be mentioned that the one and only Tom Morello features at the end of the track playing a juicy riff to take the song out. That's impressive in itself!
Should also mention, it's not just the new song that sounds familiar to another artist, but their artwork looks like some other pieces of work from Papa Roach and twenty one pilots. I know it's only a colour scheme to some, but with the way twenty one pilots are dominating the alternative music scene, you can't blame other bands for trying to tap into their success. If BMTH can do it too, why can't 5SOS?
