What a great day for an album launch! Hardcore hitters The Chain have gathered a ferocious display of audio assaulters as they launch their new release Blind The World into the ether (grab your copy here).

So I end up at a hardcore gig in the middle of winter. And it’s raining…raining like someone’s trying to flush the city. The Milk Bar in Perth is a decent sized venue, but it seems smaller than what I remember it to be, maybe because the turn out is so good.

‍Lokka hits the stage first up and it’s pure sonic violence for the next few hours from the local crew featuring the likes of Iron Eater, Streets of Separation and Gaoled. Also supplying the chaos tonight were a couple of Brisbane bands with MUD and Half Man absolutely murdering on stage!

The Chain then finished it all off with a crushingly heavy set as always! An awesome way to welcome their debut LP Blind the World to your ears.

Anyway, I give this night 11 outta 10.
