Joining Ramones in 1983 and drumming for them until 1987, Richie Ramone is credited as one of the only Ramones drummers to compose and write the band's songs. Richie was also the only surviving Ramone to be featured on the long-anticipated second Joey Ramone solo album Ya Know?, which was released on May 22, 2012.
