For almost 30 years, cosmic doom pioneers YOB have been delivering monumental heaviness to the masses since the release of debut album Elaborations of Carbon. Over the course of their careers they've snapped necks with groove-oriented tenacity and tore up stages around the world, including Australia for the first time way back in 2015.
Now, the band will be back to make up for lost time with a headline run across the country (yes, including Adelaide and Perth) thanks to the team at United Front Touring.
On the news, YOB frontman Mike Scheidt shares:
“It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since we’ve been to Australia. We are so stoked to be coming back! ”
But what's a reunion of metal madness without some local hitters to step up? Joining the tour is none other than Mountain Wizard Death Cult - aka The Wizzies - who have been making a big name for themselves in the underground scene and are ones to watch when it comes to unearthing some of the best talent the Aussie scene has to offer.
Together, these forces of nature will provided a much needed breath of fresh air for fans throughout February 2026.
