The last work we checked out from LANDMVRKS was 'Death' and 'Suffocate', created for the Deluxe release of their powerhouse record Lost In The Waves. It's been a hot minute since their 2022 record, and naturally, LANDMVRKS are back at it with their first new slice of new music in a while. Less than a month out from their debut down under supporting Northlane's Dante Tour, we have been treated with a glimpse into the future of the French metalcore masters with 'Creature'.After admittedly curious by a presumably French rap intro, I was drawn in with the callout "I am the creature!" alongside fast-paced riffs. These aggressive verses contrast against the melodic and powerful chorus, featuring some solid cleans before launching into heavy rap vocals and quick instrumentals once more. The heavy bridge will satisfy those with heavier tastes too!
'Creature' is an absolute rollercoaster of a track, full of twists and turns that serve to highlight the range of talent possessed by LANDMVRKS. This will undoubtedly be a fun track to mosh to, so don't miss your chance to see LANDMVRKS live at the Northlane - Dante Australian Tour.
