Our favourite newly discovered Australian band Bare Bones have been announced as the support act for Stone Sour's East Coast Tour next week. The heavy af punk metal rockers completely blew us away with their debut album Bad Habits which scored a well deserved 9/10 in our review so it's no surprise they've been added to the tour.

We grabbed bassist James Clarke to make sure he was still alive following the announcement:

Congratulations dude, fuckin' awesome news about the support slot, where were you when you heard the news?

"It's fucking insane! So I missed a call Wednesday morning at work. [When I] Checked my phone I had a spam of messages asking if we can do it and to fucking reply ASAP!"

For those of us who have been dying to see you play, what kind of a live show are we in for?

"We never really know what to expect from a Bare Bones show, it's always different. I'd say mostly beer, riffs, and sore necks"

Sounds like an inviting night! But talking about sore necks, your frontman Tom Kennedy fractured vertebrae in his back recently... Does that mean he'll be performing in a wheelchair? haha

[laughs] "Hopefully not, he might be a bit stiff on Stage, but hey! we'll need someone to push him around on stage if you're up for it? Wheelchair tech?"

As long as we can launch him off a jump at the end, I'm down! Will you find it hard to contain the fanboy in you if Corey says "hey" backstage?

"Knowing me, I'll close up and not speak because I'll be shitting with nerves, or I will say something completely fucking dumb to Corey Taylor and it will haunt me for the rest of my life"

Just think of him naked and you'll be sweet. Tickets are still available but you better be quick all the details below.
