After a closely fought contest across Europe and Australia, the fans have voted and declared an undisputed winner in our fourth edition of our EuroSound Song Contest

Let’s break into a circle pit for France as Landmvrks have won for their stellar track ‘Sulfur’. France is the first country to win twice, following Gojira’s win in 2023. UK band Architects were close behind as ‘Whiplash’ finished second with Swedish newcomers thrown landing at third. The top 5 is rounded out by Ireland’s folk metal lords Waylander, whose fanbase were quick to give them 5 points for ‘Ages of Éireann’, and Ukraine’s prog metalcore heroes Jinjer’s 2025 album title track ‘Duél’.

Landmvrks have improved on their third place finish last year. It is the second top five finish for both Architects and Jinjer. A Swedish band has been in the top five every year so far, reflecting the dominance of that scene.

Here’s what the voters had to say about ‘Sulfur’:

“Landmvrks are the euro metalcore Kings”

“How can it not be Landmvrks, literally one of the top albums of the year just released, the use of French lyrics throughout their songs and their creativity while keeping their distinctive sound”

“Landmvrks because they're unique and incredible!”

“Landmvrks, song just hits so hard and absolutely love them as a band”

“Landmvrks - such a bad ass track”

“This was a tough one, and normally France would never get my top vote in something, but can you really go past a release like the MVRKS”

A number of songs got the maximum 5 points from voters so a shout out to Amenra (Belgium), Caliban (Germany), Blood Command (Norway), Gaerea (Portugal), and Paleface Swiss (Switzerland). Check out the full results below, along with the playlists for your favourite streaming service.
