The time has come, you can all calm your farms, cool your jets and get fucking keen because Download Festival Australia 2020 have announced their very first lineup for next year (and it’s a fucking good one).
My Chemical Romance, hot after announcing their reunion will headline the festival in their ONLY AUSTRALIAN SHOWS. We didn’t imagine this day would come but holy fucking shit we are ready. The emo kids will be joined by Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, Clutch (Only Aus Shows), Ministry, In Flames, Testament, Alestorm (Only Aus Shows), Carcass, Lacuna Coil (Only Aus Shows), Hands Like Houses, In Hearts Wake, The HU, Baroness, Ne Obliviscaris, Bodyjar, New Years Day, Clowns, Venom Prison, SKYND, Thornhill, Disentomb, Stand Atlantic, Plini, Dregg and MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!
Being the first lineup, it’s great to see they’ve got a diverse range of bands for all different kinds of appreciations within the heavy music scene and the best part is, there’s plenty more to come!
