Mental Health Awareness within the Music Industry has exploded over the past decade with more and more musicians, music industry professionals and of course, you, the fans, speaking out about how important it is to check yourself before you wreck yourself and an act like Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have gone above and beyond to discuss how important it is to keep an eye on your mental wellbeing through their music, especially their stellar 2019 release End of Suffering (our review here).

Whilst the band were in Brisbane kicking off their 2020 Australian Tour (our Brissie show coverage here), Frank Carter and Dean Richardson sat down to chat with Wall of Sound bossman Paul 'Browny' Brown about their own mental health struggles and how we can all keep an eye on our friends and family who may be going through a rough time. The pair also discussed the importance of their "girls only" moshpit movement and the role we all need to play when that moment happens during their live shows.

Take some time to check it out and then follow up with your own struggles by reaching out to a friend, family member and then a medical professional...

If you or anyone you know needs help with their own mental well-being call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636 or find your closest Suicide Prevention/Crisis Support Organisation on Google…
