If you missed Alien Weaponry on their recent Australian tour you missed out on some killer shows, wicked riffs and circle pits not for the faint of heart. But if you were one of the ten’s of thousands who saw caught the Kiwis at Download Festival (our coverage here) or any number of shows on their headline tour, then you, like us at Wall Of Sound would have been more than impressed with the three young Kiwi’s brand of heavy metal.

To say they’ve made a splash in the metal word is an understatement. Since the release of their debut album Tu not only have they just finished a headline tour of Australia and New Zealand, they’ve played massive festivals such as Waken and are about to embark on another European tour including shows with Slayer and Anthrax. We wanted to find out what life is like for three teens on the road in the crazy world of heavy metal touring. So we got Wall of Sound’s own Kiwi import Gareth Williams to sit down with brothers Lewis (guitar/vocals) and Henry (drums/vocals) DeJong and bandmate/childhood friend Ethan Trembath (bass/vocals).

The boys discuss what they miss the most on the road, what it’s like playing alongside some of their favourite bands and why they don’t care what dead-shits like Don Brash and Mark Latham think.
